What I'm seeing in this thread seems to be two different problems.
- At least one poster says they can't overwrite files owned by other
siteadmins.
- Others about the FTP client displaying the UID number instead of the
username as the file owner, but not affecting anything. More of an
annoyance than a problem.
Another list member told me he thought there was a security update that
no longer allows proftp access to the, (I think), /etc/passwd so it
doesn't get the usernames.
I think we need to differentiate the problems and server types. I think
some have said they're having problems on a 4 and yours is a 3.
