We had not done any server mods, we then applied the ProFTPD patch:

Security Bundle 4.0.1  RaQ3-All-Security-4.0.1-13323.pkg

which had a bit of others and we then noticed the change in user/group. Also
not sure if related, but some of our scripts, ones installed before the
update are fine, the ones after update not error out on us.

RAQ3, BTW this occurred on both Raq3's we have after updates.
