Well, not only did I lose a hard drive in the XTR, I lost a drive in one of
my Qube 3s just shortly after it turned a year old(but i can't really
complain too much there). Had one other Qube 3 that I replaced completely
about 3 weeks after getting it due to a bad motherboard. I must have just
gotten a couple of bad ones; it seems everyone else doesn't have many
problems with their hardware.

I read that you should check to ensure all hard drives are seated properly
before plugging the server up, in case of the shipping "shakes" in one of
the Cobalt docs.
