I would suggest a reboot.

Or simply;
/etc/rc.d/init.d/atalk status  to see what it is;
then
/etc/rc.d/init.d/atalk start  /or/  restart

I did the "atalk status" command and it claimed to be running fine, thanks for asking.

More information: The unexpected reboot appears to have been a power flicker, I assume, since the uptime on my desktop machine matched the uptime on the Qube minute for minute.

Mac users can connect to shares on the Qube using the server's (subnet) IP address; however, it doesn't appear in the Chooser (OS 9.x) nor is it found in the OS X server menu.

I will probably take advantage of this to install a bunch of patches requiring reboots which I had been putting off; perhaps those reboots will clear up any lingering problems.
