Looks like the init script for some reason is going in loops trying to re-init your runlevel.
Take a look in
/etc/inittab
then have a look for an SV line entry, which may be the respawning culprit, although i've just checked my Raq3 (is it a raq3/raq4/raq550/washing machine?) and couldn't find an entry that it could be.
