Nope, the Cobalt RaQ uses the standard ntp package, which is with most linux boxes. Have you got ipchains or a firewall in place? As thats the most likely reason why it fails.
Try ssh'ing in, and doing the following:
ntpdate ntp.demon.co.uk
(Change the ntp server, or try this one if you like, its an ISP in the UK)
It should wait a second then respond something like:
5 Jul 09:03:47 ntpdate[5359]: adjust time server 158.152.1.76 offset 0.002940 sec
If not, paste the responce back to the list.
