Hi Henrique,
I'm afraid that without the Spicepack there is no way to send email using
ASP, you'll have to use a CGI script instead. The Spicepack specifically
adds this functionality along with an upload component, a POP3 component
(build your own webmail) and Chili!Beans which is a wrapper for Java objects
(don't ask me about this, I don't use it!!).
The good news is that if you send a nice email to those helpful folks at
Chili!Soft (try chili.tech@xxxxxxx) you should be able to talk them into
giving you the Spicepack free of charge. Instructions for the components are
included with the ASP documentation - the SMTP component is called in
exactly the same way as CDONTS for NT/IIS.
Good luck!!
Richard
