Thanks to both Eddy and to Peter, for making me feel a bit better
<smile>.

Interesting to note that free memory went up quite a bit after the
client switched AMD CPUs between two RaQ4s...

Here's an example from about a half-hour ago:

Machine 60:
total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached:
 Mem: 529522688 74301440 455221248 76197888 6545408 33390592
 Swap: 0 0 0
 MemTotal: 517112 kB
 MemFree: 444552 kB
 MemShared: 74412 kB
 Buffers: 6392 kB
 Cached: 32608 kB
 SwapTotal: 0 kB
 SwapFree: 0 kB

And from Machine 66:

total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached:
 Mem: 529522688 169959424 359563264 151937024 56315904 46854144
 Swap: 0 0 0
 MemTotal: 517112 kB
 MemFree: 351136 kB
 MemShared: 148376 kB
 Buffers: 54996 kB
 Cached: 45756 kB
 SwapTotal: 0 kB
 SwapFree: 0 kB

Peter thought it was unusual to have a SwapTotal of 0... I'd tend to
agree with him. Those machines are both from one client; here's the
output of my personal system which has only half as much memory:

total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached:
 Mem: 263819264 243580928 20238336 257798144 76079104 84361216
 Swap: 134688768 139264 134549504
 MemTotal: 257636 kB
 MemFree: 19764 kB
 MemShared: 251756 kB
 Buffers: 74296 kB
 Cached: 82384 kB
 SwapTotal: 131532 kB
 SwapFree: 131396 kB

Here's another, from a client with a RaQ3 with 512 megs:

total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached:
 Mem: 529522688 518848512 10674176 51470336 86278144 389558272
 Swap: 134692864 2166784 132526080
 MemTotal: 517112 kB
 MemFree: 10424 kB
 MemShared: 50264 kB
 Buffers: 84256 kB
 Cached: 380428 kB
 SwapTotal: 131536 kB
 SwapFree: 129420 kB

So I guess everything is more or less as it should be <smile>.

> What is the RaQ doing or not doing?

The RaQ I've identified as "60" is sitting on the Internet and acting as
a secondary DNS server, but it's not actively serving any sites. The
one identified as "66" is serving sites and DNS.

My RaQ4 above is serving a few static sites and DNS, the client's RaQ3
is serving some fairly active sites, with bulletin boards, etc.

Thanks, guys <smile>.

Have a happy July 4th. Even if you're not from the U.S.A. and it
doesn't have any special meaning for you <smile>.
