Hmmm, in going back and looking this over I see more "clearly" what you are
talking about. The problem is in the "new" proftpd daemon and _not_ in the
system files.
Am doing some testing now to better "identify" the problem, but can agree
with others who stated it "works" correctly (username/group displayed
correctly for admin, not for other users). Have reset a RAQ4 here to
standalone daemon mode with debug level 5 and am looking....
