[cobalt-users] split_logs broken pipe

Been getting emails from my RAQ3 for some time stateing:


errors occured while rotating /var/log/httpd/access

error running prerotate script -- 
				leaving old log in place



Went onto the Cobalt Knowledgebase and found reference number
010820-000008
 Which states that I should try :

"Type this as root from command line:
/usr/local/sbin/split_logs web < /var/log/httpd/access"

which returns "Broken Pipe".

Can anyone shed some more light on correcting this error.
