Julius,
I believe you're using the wrong shell tools. To add users via the shell
that will show up in the gui, you have to use the Cobalt Shell tools written
by Jeff Bilicki.

The rpm installs all scripts into /usr/sbin/
To install, as root type rpm -U RaQ3-shell-tools-1.0-2.noarch.rpm
cadduser - utility for adding a single user to a virtual site.
caddvsite - adding a virtual site
cdeluser - deletes a user
cdelvsite - deletes a virtual site
csuspend - suspends a user or virtual site
cunsuspend - unsuspend a user or virtual site
The usage for these commands can now be found in man pages
(Note: adduser's man page is cadduser)
