Because we don't use PostgreSQL for the appliance itself (like on RaQ3,
RaQ4, and RaQ XTR), PostgreSQL is "just there" for you to use, with no
"unique" password.  To get mine started, I first brought up the
postgresql daemon with 

/etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql start

Then, while logged in as root, I did

psql -u cobalt

It prompted me for username, so I put in 'admin' (no quotes)
It prompted me for password, so I put in 'admin' (no quotes)

I got the   cobalt=>   prompt; 'cobalt' is an empty database, though,
with no tables, etc.
