I'm not gonna let loose a script from 2000 on an
up to date RaQ4i with hardware less than 2 months old,
sorry. I think it would take me further away from
any long-lasting solution(s).
Also, I saw the script, it uses /site# as base-home-dir,
this is wrong for my configuration, since all runs from
the base /home domain. So I do not dare to think about
possible consequences of running that script on this RaQ.

Yes, thoroughly. The answers aren't there. Try it yourselves.
I've not read much that has been useful for my problem.
Lots of talk about (old) shell tools, but no good manuals and
examples for it, also, no warranties anywhere for anything.
It's all "blah blah but I have not tested this" etc.
I need to know HOW it happened that out of the blue
it was not possible to add or change email-aliases without
getting strange error-messages in the bottom of the GUI screen.
If I know what caused it, I can prevent it, repair it.
Right now I don't have a clue what is causing this.
