The "www." is correct.  It should include the host (www) that you set to
receive email for that domain.  If you look towards the bottom of
virtusertable you'll see a section labeled "# accept-email-at-domain
routes".  It should have a line like this:

@domain.com       %1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

which means that email received for alias@xxxxxxxxxx is delivered to
alias@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
