[cobalt-users] Strange HTTP Problem

Has anyone seen this before?

One of our clients who connects to the Internet through a certain ISP are
unable to see web pages on our RaQ3 server. However, as far as we know, it
is only through their ISP that this problem occurs - there may be more ISPs
but we've only found one with this problem so far.

They can ping our server.
They can traceroute to our server.
They can email our server.
However, when trying to view web pages on our server, whether typing our IP
address or one of our web addresses into their browser, the request times
out. Therefore, they can't any of the web sites on our server. However, they
do seem to be able to see sites on other people's servers in the same data
centre.

This is bizarre, and we've lost a customer because of it. We've not found
this problem on any other ISP (yet) but someone else has told us they're
having this problem at their University, but we don't know what ISP they
use.

We're so confused! And the ISP in question couldn't find a fault at their
end last time they looked a couple of months ago. They're looking again
today for a fault. We've had so many problems with our RaQ3, I really hope
it's not the server at fault!

Any halp or inspiration greatly appreciated!

Simon
