Yes, the web site is moving to another server.  If I understand what you are
saying.  If I change the host name of the mail server from "www" to "mail",
the email users need to change their incoming & outgoing server names to
"mail.domainname.com."  Right now users put in the server names as
"domainname.com without the  term "mail" in before.
