Did you by any chance upgrade the memory in this machine recently ?
There was an issue with some RAQ3's mainboards causing errors that appeared
to be a HD or Memory problem.
Your problems sound similar to ones I had, after replacing memory and hard
drive , the issue about the mainboard came to light.
The mainboard was changed and the RAQ is now running perfectly as a RAQ4.
