To those who can help me.
We have a lot of problems with our customers complaining about the
dated version of the OS on our RAQ XTR. As we have a couple of them
and there is no official upgrade, we intend to upgrade the XTR's
ourselfs.
Crazy? Well maybe, but what I have been reading it should not be to
difficult. I already have the 2.4 Kernel running on our test systems.
What I want to do next (I don't think SUN likes this) :-)) that I
want to rebuild the OS Restore CD on a PC and have my Cobalts boot
from this PC, with another Linux OS (Either Red Hat or SuSe).
If we lose fiunctionality, that's fine, but I would like to minimize
the loss.
Therefore my question, Is there a complete list of what packages I
need to install to get some or all functionality I have under the
Cobalt OS.
This would make my quest a lot shorter.
Thanks to all.
