Web designer != routing guru

So, do you plan to throw all the boxes in the same network
segment, where one can easily DoS your router or DNS servers?
Traffic sniffing parties? Ready to deal with upstreams when you
play with BGP? (The fast path, pun intended, to routing bliss is
direct contact with network engineers. Forget it if you don't
have routing clue.)

Sorry... I've seen too many "I can build a colo too" facilities
that are clueless when it comes to what's needed.

Here's the deal: Everyone uses pretty much the same equipment
and technology. Do you provide cheap get-what-you-pay-for
service, or good clue? If the latter, you need experienced
staff.

Ever had a bad support experience? Now, how will you provide
better for your clients? You need the infrastructure clue.

I'd much rather dream of Nx OC-12 connections with rich community
support for inbound and outbound routes. But, hey, I like to
think that I have a fair idea what I'm doing when I route. ;-)
