We buy by the rack.  We charge a bit more than that for 2U of space; we
think we're worth it.  Ymmv.  I recently got a system from a client
whose previous colo charged him $250/month for a Raq colo (not rental)
over a 5 mbps fiber connection.  Doesn't even have generator backup
power.

Yet he gets a lot of clients at his price.  As we get at ours.  As I
pointed out, until now our sales model doesn't even include a website.
It will soon, though <smile>.

Hmm, I get 2U, Fiber T3 speeds (If I want it), 1 port out to the network, 30 AMPS of power, 24/7 monitoring etc, etc.
