Please explain two things to me...

1) where can you buy 1u cases for $100.  I'd like to know about those.

2) why you consider "old parts" for a unix/linux box to be equivalent to
the new parts you get when you buy a Sun Cobalt RaQ.

I don't understand.  Are you saying that $17 cards are as good as $195
busmaster cards with cache in terms of throughput?  Or are you saying
that those $195 cards are important even for inexpensive machines
running low-end clients on a T-1?  Please clarify.
