One of the little desktop switches that we have is an 8-port
DLink. It works well. And, really, for DSL and a few
computers... you won't have _huge_ amounts of traffic, anyway.
I'm curious: What support is needed for an unmanaged switch?
One plugs it in, and it works... or not, in which case one
returns it.
Other suggestion to OP: Switches are cheap. Buy a spare, too.
