RE: [cobalt-users] persistent pop lock problems.



removing the pop locks are all well and good, except we are talking AT LEAST
once a week, if not once a day (sometimes more) for this individual account.

I have also checked the quotas, and that is no problem. his user account is
nowhere near his personal limit, or the site limit.


I prefer to solve the problem, not the symptom.

* You could try a different POP daemon
* You can always manually remove the POP lock files
* There's some program to remove stale POP locks, but I don't
  recall the details.

Look in /var/tmp/.pop (IIRC) for lock files.

	find / -type d -name ".pop"

to check that I'm not lying about directory.
