RE: [cobalt-users] Checking Mail

Thom,

If you just want to verify he is able to receive email? You can telnet to
your mail server, port 110.

issue the following commands:

USER <name>
PASS <his pw>
list * returns any mail he has
retr #	* instead of the hash (#) enter the number from the line above.

You have just verified he can log on and download email.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Checking Mail

Is there anyway I can log into the RaQ as user joe to ascertain that he
is able to receive mail WITHOUT causing all his mail to be dowloaded and
removed from the server?

Have a customer who says he can't receive mail...

Thanks
Thom
