I just did it on Friday to a RaQ3i. I put a Maxtor drive on the second
controller with the existing Seagate drive on the original controller.
They are not the same size, the Maxtor is slightly larger. Everything
installed perfectly the first time around. I do know that both drives
are 5400 RPM and read here on the list that they could not be a higher
speed. However, you get RAID 1 (mirroring), not RAID 0. Actually I
would rather have RAID 0 for performance because I already have good
backup plans. If anyone knows how to get RAID 0, please let me know.
