I have a few like this myself and have tried different HD's, memory...to no
avail. What OS are you trying to restore to? 3 or 4? I assume these are
plain 3's and not 3i's so you would need to use the 4i OS.

I run into this entirely too often and haven't been able to figure it out, I
usually strike it up to a bad mobo, but if you are getting the units to work
fine after dropping in a restored HD then I am as stumped as you and would
love some feedback... I probably have a dozen RaQ's here that are collecting
dust.
Anyone from Sun have a clue??
