[cobalt-users] Editing file with console login

Hi all,

When connect a notebook to the serial port of the Raq4 using null cable
modem & use the microsoft hyper terminal software(or terra term software) to
login, I was able to login  but when I edit a file like hosts.allow, I got a
error message, "Terminal capability cm required".

Is that I can't  edit any file after console login?

Is there any special setting or special software for this purpose?
