What do you mean share? You can have an alias directory under Apache for
any site specified in the httpd.conf.
Alias /images/ /home/sites/site#/web/images/
Then that /images/ directory would be shared by the site so that any
<img src="/images/file.gif"> would point to the images directory
specified in the httpd.conf.
I'm sure using the rewrite rules that it can be fine tuned for specific
files.
You might want to consult apache.org.
