I gave up trying to install OS update 2 via the GUI using the "from location" option and ftp'd it directly into the packages folder on my server, ie from the shell. Once this had been done, the package displayed in the GUI and the update went flawlessly; [root /root]# cd /home/packages [root /root]# wget ftp://ftp.cobalt.com/pub/packages/raq4/eng/RaQ4-en-OSUpdate-2.0.pkg
What is the next step after putting this in the /home/packages directory? Does it appear in the control panel to be installed or do I need to run something from the command line?
