[cobalt-users] Perpetual mail locks on Qube2

The network settings on my Qube2 were reset yesterday, causing a great
deal of grief in getting the system back up again. Everything seems to be
working again except that .pop and .lock files are being created for
every single user that logs in to check mail. I can remove these files
easy enough, but they're created again the next time a user logs in.
I have all the current Qube2 patches installed.
One thing that I needed to do to get the system back up and running was
to delete a 0 byte /var/cobalt/status file. Many of the services on the
Qube couldn't start up properly (including the admin web server) until I
deleted that file and the system created a new one.
What else can I look for? Please help!
