I've been using the email client The Bat! for quite some while. The secure version has some rather nifty
features, including on-the-fly encryption of messages stored offline and encryption to/from server using
CRAM/MD5.
As I understand, CRAM/MD5 is supported by sendmail, but not the version installed by default on RaQs
(at least v3).
Has anyone attempted to ugrade sendmail for this purpose?
What would a sendmail upgrade on a RaQ3 potentially entail? What would be the worst-case scenario
in case things screw up?
Thanks,
Per M Knutsen
