I've tried to secure a webpage for a client request,
but it doesn't let me in, though I know the password.
.htaccess looks like this:
AuthUserFile /home/sites/site398/web/test2/.htpasswd
AuthGroupFile /dev/null
AuthName ByPassword
AuthType Basic
<Limit GET>
require user pumpkin
</Limit>
.htpasswd was generated using
/usr/sbin/htpasswd -c .htpasswd pumpkin
(in the above mentioned directory).
When I try to get something from that test2 dir,
apperas a dialog, but when I type the password, it
appears again.
I've also chmod-ed the directory and files (og+r).
I'm using RAQ3.
What should I do?
Csaba
