OC48 into what?  Again, when you near the core, that terminology
becomes increasingly inaccurate.  I presume that you mean they
have OC48 links to other nearby POPs.

What's nice about them is that they, like C&W and GBLX, support
community-based selective as-path padding.  They also have nice
inbound community tags to flag origin.  Kevin Epperson (L3's
peering coordinator tech) sent me a list of their supported
communites... it's very extensive.
Cable and wireless has a very nice network and global crossing, they have a clean network for a company based in Europe, you can not even compare them to level 3 in the same sentence, however...... community based BGP4 as-path padding is very nice and, heavy on overhead. 




Do you know offhand what their cross-connect policy is?
