Would you believe that this is NOT necessarily a Windows DNS server? It's
probably not, this is the default for many (all?) versions of Windows. This
can be fixed by unchecking the default "update this machine's entry in DNS"
check box in some IP dialog or other. My guess is that your name server is
authoritative for that zone, or that arpa, and that's why it's trying to ask
your name server to update.
