Yes, , did you reboot? One of the patches had a bug in that it needed a
reboot to finish installing, but didn't actualy reboot the server. If you
rebooted for some other reason, it probably finally installed it.
[This is also a hint you aren't totally current on updates btw, i think a
slightly later repatch fixed this, tho it's minor]

You don't need those instructions, they were for doing it by hand, the
rpm update now does this by itself...
