[cobalt-users] Upgrading Python on RAQ4 to 2.2 from 1.5.2

I have the python2.2 source rpm. I run rpm -rebuild python2.2.src.rpm
and I get :

Error: failed build dependencies
	Db1-devel is needed

I get db1.85-5 source rpm. I run rpm -rebuild db1.85-5.src.rpm and I get
two rpm in /home/redhat/RPMS/i386

	Db1.85-5.rpm and db1-devel.85-5.rpm

I then run rpm -U db1.86-5.rpm and get.

Error: failed dependencies:
	Glibc < 2.1.90 conflicts with db1.85-5

So then I go and get a later glibc and that report conflict with
webalizer 2.06.....

Could Someone offer assistane as to what version of db1 is currently on
the raq4 of let me know how to find out how to find the version so I can
get the correct devel for db1 and avoid getting deeper and deeper in rpm
installs.
