log in as admin and do a 'df -h'  most likely your /var/ partition is full.

What you will need to do is well documented in the archives.

Simply remove the hard drive, mount it in another linux box.  remove or move
the large log files.

In the future have the log files in /home/log and link them back to
/var/log.
