We recommend WinSCP2 for Windows; it installs like, and looks like, an
FTP client, but it uses ssh.  All built in; nothing else to worry about.

While you can turn off FTP if you use this solution, it's NOT a good
idea; if you do, then you'll lose clients.  We only recommend it; after
all using site admin passwords it's the site than can be hacked; if data
is sniffed, it's customer data.
