Thanks for raising this issue - something I've tried to do with my "RaQ 5?"
post.  We are in a similar position - the RaQ's are great when one wants to
optimize support resources, but the hardware specs are falling behind (if only
just).  And, judging by the amount of posts to this list and other forums, the
range of software supplied as standard needs some revision.  

For example, the PHP/mySQL combination is far more popular than the
PHP/Interbase one, not to mention ASP/Interbase.  Hopefully the JSP efforts will
also pick up some speed.

How about it Sun - we would like to know what's store for the future ...
