Gotta agree, JC.  I've had the same experience. I used raqbackup.sh, which
made the process a little easier, but I did lose a few forwards, and in one
odd case, the catchall email account for a domain changed from one user to
another.  All in all, though, the change went smoothly.  It even got my Log
files mostly intact.  We use WebTrends, which reads the log files via FTP
directly from the server, and it only lost a few days.  I could have
recopied the logs just prior to the switchover and regained those as well,
but it wasn't worth the trouble.

No, CMU isn't even close to perfect, but it beats doing it all by hand (I
speak from experience - I've done it both ways).
BTW, raqbackup.sh copies MySQL databases as well, which was a big concern of
mine.
