Re: Very OT(!): Re: [cobalt-users] Webalizer & Urchin on Raq4i's, possible or not?

Hi Nico, Mark here ... beer is better than Mountain Dew anyway (even here in
the U.S., and we have both! :)

I installed the Webalizer 1.3 from the Sun/Cobalt website. It installed
fine, but would not run, even after 3 days. I got up to the password but it
never displayed the stat screen. So, I deleted the Webalizer file from the
bin directory (I think) and the .CONF file and tried to reinstall the
complete Webalizer package again -- this time it would not install at all
through the GUI. It complained that it required a PNK library. I'm not sure
what this is, I think its looking for a graphics library. Not sure which one
I have installed on the RAQ 4i ... how can I tell?

Also, I first tried to upgrade the 1.3 version to the 2.0 version with
instructions from a website called "Bear Fruit" -- ever hear of it? It deals
with graphics library problem that cobalt users face when upgrading to
Webalizer 2.0, but it did not work for me! So now I need to start from
scratch. But even the original version, the 1.3, will not install. Hope you
can help ... have another beer on me, just not through your nose! By the
way, my OS background is DOS and Windows. I just got good at DOS and this
Windows thing came along.

Thanx,
Mark
