Hello,
Check if there's a line in .htaccess like
AuthPAM_Enabled Off
I had a problem with FP sometime ago when one of my clients couldn't login
anymore and after three times the server said no fp extension installed.
It has something to do with the htaccess authorization at least with me

I had the same problem on a raq4 yesterday. This problem had been ongoing
for over a week
and the customer was getting upset. What I ended up doing is creating a new
domain ( Subdomain
actually ) and transferring his site there. I had him then repost his site
and all was well. I did a redirect
in apache and now his site comes up at the new location, but I would also
like to know why this is happening.
