[cobalt-users] Group ID (GID) reset to unknown after installing patches

Hi,

I updated all patches (in proper order) going back to July of last year on
my RaQ2. I had a few problems w/ corrupt pkg files (as per message when
installing) so I downloaded from Cobalt FTP site (everything then installed
OK.) However, on almost every domain I host on that server, the Group ID
(GID) has been changed to "Unknown" on most but not all files and
directories. I have been manually using the "chown" command to change these
in Telnet, but with a 100+ domains on the server this will take forever. Any
ideas on why this happened and a thorough but quick solution?
