I don't think your mail will work until the nameservers point to the RAQ.

name "www.domain2.com,"  is this right?  so when the client sets up their
email app they use "www.domain2.com" as their smtp server."

You can use whatever you want or nothing in the www. slot for mail server
addresses.

No problems with that.
