Hi,
I installed Perl 5.6 on my Raq4 recently - seems to be OK, scripts
executing alright etc. Firstly, is there anything while installing 5.6 I
should have done especially, as opposed to a basic installation? I just
compiled it from source and installed it, then reinstalled all my old
modules, and moved /usr/local across to the home partition (since it was
getting full), making a symlink from old->new location.
Only problem I can see is that the Gui doesn't work properly, and that's
because the Cobalt modules aren't installed cuz I can't find them on
CPAN. I know they're still in my old install of Perl on the Raq..
So question is - what's the simplest way (exact CPAN command pls..me
rubbish at this stuff!) to get the Cobalt modules all installed nicely -
and will this fix the GUI?
Ta, answers *much* appreciated.
