Did you overwrite the old Perl installation? If so, I've been told that
breaks much of the GUI. A safer route is to install your new copy of Perl
to a different location. I suggest restoring your system from backups or
reloading the OS from the restore CD, then installing Perl in a different
location.

Nothing I'm aware of. And I've been working with the RaQs since the
original line and have been on these lists for 2+ years. I have not seen
the education bundle, but a day or so skimming through the scripts within
/usr/admserv/cgi-bin/.cobalt will teach you a lot quickly. Again, it's
probably best not to mess with the default Perl installation, especially
since future Cobalt upgrade packages may expect the old version and
overwrite any changes you make to get the server running under a a newer
Perl. Just my 2 cents.
