Did you define the domain name alone and the domainname with the
www. exactly the same way? (add address record..IP ?)
If you are using a Raq4 you need to tell us, there are other things you
can screw up ;)

You need to use that IP for a *web site* , not just for the nameserver...
Doesn't matter what web site, just *some* site connected to that IP
address...

The nameservers in the Raq's network config have almost nothing to do with
what you are setting up for DNS to serve domainnames, You need to add
'secondary nameserver record for domain' for your secondary, the primary
should match the machines first IP address/name, if not, add that one too
, this isn't quite right, but i assume you are also cheating a bit....sigh
If you are really running a secondary nameserver that is on another
machine, your configuration needs to be completly different than this ;)

Remember , it's more important that you have used the IP's for a web site
than that you use them somewhere in DNS, the server doesn';t setup the
network for an IP address untill you actually use it for a web site...

This is still probably because you don't have them matching quite right,
tho, there is another possible problem you may be running into, but i
don't think it is the case ..yet
ps: If you are wildly making changes to domain names, you may need to
restart the email server , you can confuse it after a bit if you are
changing things around in strange ways...
Telling us the domain name will let us help you figure out what is/isn't
right anout how you configured the nameserver records , as we can look it
up and see how it responds, if you really are not comfortable putting it
on the list you can email it to me ...Tho really, you aren't giving much
away that someone couldn't probably figure out if they wanted to ;)
Not knowing that, means i am guessing about what exactly you are doing...
