The file does indeed stream; I have a couple of clients streaming
audio from their sites in this way. If you just link directly to the
file you download it, but if you go to the page that I referenced and
read the directions, there are full instructions there on how to set
up a ram file (or whatever it is, can't remember) so that the files
stream rather than download.
>From what I've read (I've got quite a few bookmarks on this subject),
you don't start seeing difficulties with streaming it this way until
the files are 5megs or larger. At that point, using RealServer is
best (and Basic is free).
I'm thinking of installing RSBasic anyway just to learn how to do it
and see how it interacts with the RaQ.
