Use something that uses IMAP, such as twig.

It's a pretty nice package, and have been using it for quite some time. It
just requires PHP3 and pgSQL or MySQL. The RaQ's come with pgSQL and PHP so
you're set.

I'm looking for a server wide webmail product that does NOT delete
messages on the server and does NOT set the mail as read.
The intended use would be for a user(me) to be able to check mail
from remote computers, but upon return to the office having
Eudora see the mail I read at the remote site and still download it to
my office box.
Thanks in advance for any input from those that have found one of the many
packages that will operate in this manner.
As far as I can tell, thinmail doesn't work this way, as it sets the read
flag.
