I hate NS, too, and had moved all but one domain to 000doamins.com.
That one domain I couldn't move because they wouldn't update my contact
info, despite letters, faxes, etc. That one domain got hijacked and NS (I
have no idea why NS honored the bogus letter) then told me they couldn't do
anything about it. Anyway.......NS told me that they couldn't change the
name server registration, but the owner had to do it. They told me to
contact the registrant, which may be why you were contacted.
